Refrigerant dryer

Desiccant dryer

MXS

  • Parker Zander PNEUDRI MX provides a compact and reliable solution for the removal of water vapour. The use of high tensile extruded aluminium columns eliminates the need for complex valves and interconnecting piping; while the length to diameter ratio of the column and non-welded construction means that the periodic inspections that twin tower dryers require for insurance purposes are not needed.
  • The modular design significantly reduces the footprint of the dryer, when compared to traditional twin tower dryers. Not only does PNEUDRI MX modular design offer space saving benefits, it also provides the option of multi-banking dryers. This allows the possibility of 100% stand-by, flexible maintenance and should extra drying capacity be required, additional dryers can be easily installed.

MXLE

EDB

  • Parker EcoDry EDB and Blower Purge Desiccant Air Dryers use the adsorption method to remove moisture from compressed air. Nominal pressure dewpoints reach -40*C (-70°C as option) by directing the flow of saturated compressed air over a bed of desiccant.
  • Parker EcoDry EDB dryers contain 2% purge air type and zero purge air type. 2% purge air type dryers combine heat with either a small portion of the dried compressed air or with forced ambient air to affect regeneration. Zero purge air type dryers only use ambient air to affect regeneration. The heated, low pressure air flows gently through the regenerating bed, adsorbing the moisture that accumulated on the surface of the desiccant during the drying cycle and exhausting it to the atmosphere.

CDAS / OFAS

  • CDAS / OFAS dryers are heatless adsorption dryers, i.e. the regeneration cycle (purge cycle) uses clean, dry purge air to ensure that moisture is fully removed from the off-line desiccant bed prior to re-pressurisation and being brought back on-line. As there is a cost to generate compressed air, the energy consumed by the CDAS / OFAS dryer comes from the regeneration air (purge air) it uses to regenerate the off-line desiccant bed.

WATER-COOLED

Condensate Management

ZERO LOSS ELECTRICAL SENSOR DRAIN

  • If the control of a condensate drain is not level controlled but exclusively time-based, it employs preset values for valve operating times and intervals. However, since the amount of condensate in a compressed air system changes constantly the following problems arise with time-controlled condensate drains:
  •  Valve operating time is set too short, or operating intervals are too long:
    • Not enough condensate is drained.
    • COMPRESSED AIR SYSTEM BACKS UP.
  • Valve operating time is set too long, or operating intervals are too short:
    • The valve remains open although all the condensate has been drained.
    • COMPRESSED AIR ESCAPES.
